Our company was contacted by an electrical contractor in Southwestern Missouri who was interested in applying spray foam insulation to his building to help improve its energy performance as well as strengthen the structure and reduce drafts. Our spray foam rental rig assisted this homeowner in the 2nd phase of his home renovation.
In the summer of 2013, U.S. Spray Foam Rentals worked on the first phase of this home remodel in Indianapolis, Indiana. Our crew helped the homeowner install 3″ of open cell foam throughout the exterior walls and 6″ of foam at the roof deck.
U.S. Spray foam Rentals was invited back again this winter to help complete the 2nd phase of this project. The second phase of the project consisted of applying 2 sets of foam. This was completed in 2 days.
All exterior walls were sprayed with 3″ of open cell foam. The roof deck and gable walls were sprayed with 6″ of open cell spray foam. After these areas were complete, we then moved to the garage. The garage ceiling was directly under a living space within the home so it was critical to properly insulate and air seal this space. Here our spray foam rental equipment applied 6″ of foam in just a couple of hours.
The homeowner mentioned to our crew that he didn’t even have a contractor bid the 2nd phase of the project because we had saved him so much money on the 1st phase and our equipment worked so well. Our crew was very happy to hear that!

New Orleans, Louisiana
U.S. Spray Foam Rentals just finished helping another customer insulate their home with spray foam insulation in New Orleans.
This home was built in the 1880′s and has been through numerous hurricanes. After hurricane Isaac removed the roof, the homeowner decided spray foam insulation would be the perfect fit for his unexpected renovation.
During the first day of the project, the homeowner used our spray foam rental equipment to apply 6″ of open cell spray foam insulation throughout the roof deck, within the attic space. The homeowner plans to later finish the space and because there is no true attic space, spray foam was the best option. 6″ of foam was applied in less than 4 hours. Our team was contacted by an organic farmer just south of Houston, Texas. This customer had just recently constructed two steel buildings that were needed to be insulated for temperature controlled food storage.

Kirksville, Missouri
U.S. Spray Foam Rentals assisted a general contractor with the spray foam insulation on this renovated Missouri farmhouse. The walls were sprayed with 5″ of open cell spray foam. Our spray foam rental equipment helped this contractor finish the walls in less than 6 hours.
Next the vaulted ceiling was insulated with 8″ of open cell spray foam. This was a challenge due to the 18 foot height. A rolling scaffold was used to help with the application. The ceiling was completed using our foam insulation rental in 9 hours.
On the third day of installation, our customer used our spray foam rental rig to insulate the foundation walls in the crawlspace below the new addition. 3″ of closed cell foam was applied to all of the walls. Applying spray foam insulation on a concrete foundation wall will stop nearly 95% of the energy attempting to come through it.

Bar Harbor, Maine
Our crew traveled over 1,500 miles to insulate this home in Bar Harbor, Maine. It was one of the most beautiful spray foam insulation rental projects we have been on as of yet.
The homeowner of this newly built home new he needed to insulate it properly and the best way to do that would be spray foam insulation. The property is located directly on the water and is subject to cold temperatures and very high winds. Once our spray foam rental equipment was onsite it was time to go to work!
First, we applied 3″ of closed cell foam to the entire roof deck. This application created an extremely efficient attic space. 3″ of closed cell spray foam will stop nearly 96% of the energy trying to travel through it. After the closed cell foam was applied, a layer of open cell foam was also sprayed to further increase the r-value and help with soundproofing the home. Finally, the basement ceiling was insulated with 8″ of open cell foam.
